Nick as a person: Nick is one of the most genuine and hard working person I have met. He is very approachable, friendly and everything you want your real estate agent to be. He knows when to be your best friend and when to be your Realtor which I think is one quality that sets him apart from other agents in the market. He is a thorough professional who is very knowledgeable about real estate buying/selling and above all commands a very good reputation among his colleagues. He thinks about scenarios as if he is your own family member which he becomes by the time he finishes the real estate transaction. You know that this guy is in this business for the long run. He is a gem of a person. Nick as realtor: Nick comes into his own when it comes to real estate. I know this might seem very cliche but I was skeptic about real estate agents until I met Nick. He turned me into a believer. He knows Ottawa area in general and Barrhaven in specific like the back of his head which allows him to price the house at an opportune amount. This in my mind is the most important aspect and expertise that exceptional realtors like Nick employ to create a win for their clients. I must say that we were extremely fortunate to have chosen Nick. His guidance in terms of when to put the house on the market is on point. The other thing we really liked about Nick was his trust in us in setting the place up. He provided us feedback when needed or when we asked for it. This allowed us to get involved in the selling process and he made us his team in a way. He showcased real wizardry when it came to getting people for showings and open house. We had 20+ showings in three days before the open house !!. We even had extra showings even after the open house. This is what a seller hopes from a realtor and Nick exceeded our expectations on this aspect. All of his efforts translated to double digit offers on our property which blew our mind away. All along the way he was there to help us guide through the process. He looked at our best interest and told us which offer we should accept and why. In the end, we accepted an offer that had no conditions on sale and had the best possible price that again was beyond our wildest imaginations. Reasons for choosing Nick as realtor: After going through the whole process, we think it is simple: You want a realtor who takes the stress away from you whether buying or selling. All that we had to do was clean to house, make it presentable and be away from house during showings. That’s all that Nick asked us to do. He did not allow us to spend money on doing things that won’t matter. This speaks volumes about his ability to sell the house as is, another mark of a great realtor that he is. “If you are seeking a true professional in the real estate industry for yourself or for executive staff, look no further. In April 2018 our family of five was relocating from Australia to Ottawa and needed to find suitable rental accommodation very quickly. As we needed a home to be available upon arrival, we couldn’t physically view any of the homes which we sought. However, in under 6 weeks, we arrived in Canada and had secured an executive home which perfected aligned to our needs. How did we do this? Partnering with one amazing real estate agent. To put context to this feat achieved by Nick, we had a pretty long list of ‘must have’s’ including meeting a cleanliness standard of minimal carpets for an asthmatic child. Nick has been, without any exaggeration, the most professional and extraordinary real estate person we have ever dealt with. His customer service skills or communication could not be faulted by any means. He answered our emails (which were of course not aligned to the Canada working day) expeditiously, and helped us understand the local paperwork process. When we asked Nick to view other homes, he was honest about their shortcomings against our key requirements (ie traffic noise, cleanliness etc), and replied very quickly after seeking them.
